About Mr. Logan
I was born and raised in Prince George and graduated from O'Grady Catholic High School (before it closed down of course!) I completed a degree in Honours History at the University of Victoria in December 2009 and completed a master's degree in history at UVic in December 2012. History has always been a passion of mine and I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm with all of you!
When I'm not teaching or studying, I am usually outdoors. I have worked in forestry for at least four months of every year since I was 16 years old and have used that job to see many areas of our beautiful province. For the last six years I have worked as an Initial Attack fire fighter with the B.C. Forest Service. I love fighting fires almost as much as I love history and am always happy to share my experiences with you. Just ask!
If I had to sum up what I value most in education in one word, it would be RESPECT. To me, the most effective, engaging, and fun learning takes place when we can all talk to each other and share our views and experiences with one another. But this can't happen in an environment where people don't feel safe. I will always encourage each and every one of you to share your voice with me and your peers and I will do everything I can to promote a fun and safe learning environment. I expect the same from every one of my students!
